It was announced today, that Dennis "Taff" Turner, Glider Pilot, Jumped from serviceable aeroplanes over Suez, Diesel fitter extrordinair, Chief Winch Instructor, one time DG 300 Pilot and Jolly Fine Chap has now added a further flying achievement to the long list of things we all wish we could do. Taff has qualified as an SLMG pilot, first class.. Les, the CFI at Saltby, having extracted most of Taff's retirement savings,  has decided at long last to sign him off. It is rumoured that there might be a drink in it for all his new found admirers during Task Week.
